Sad to hear of the death of John Stapleton. From Watchdog to Breakfast television he was a brilliant presenter. I remember him on BBC1’s Nationwide in the early evenings. Here’s my musical tribute to an outstanding journalist and broadcaster.
Don’t post here much now but felt compelled to pay tribute to John Stapleton. We met in Washington in 2008, and stayed in touch. He sometimes appeared on the news channel. Always encouraging, always kind. One of the very best in TV news. A true gent. bbc.com/news/articles/…

A year ago I didn’t even know what endometriosis was - now I’m taking part in a scientific research project with the University of Edinburgh as an ambassador, to help find out more about this chronic, painful condition. If you’re a sufferer and want to get involved info here 👇🏽

Back after time off, as I recovered from #endometriosis surgery. It’ll help but won’t remove all the pain as no one quite knows what causes endo. Sharing to raise awareness - yesterday in parliament a minister said: “women with endometriosis have been failed for far too long”.
Former US President Jimmy Carter has died. A one term president, who faced challenges inc the Iran hostage crisis - he’ll be remembered for what he achieved AFTER leaving office as much as what he did in the White House. I met him briefly in 2014, he was charming and friendly.
