False and misleading claims about voting and counting in #USElection battleground states continue to spread: ❌ Votes cast in Wisconsin outnumbered those registered to vote - FALSE ❌ Arizona ballots are invalidated if you use a Sharpie pen - FALSE bbc.co.uk/news/election-…
Trump has falsely claimed victory in the US election. “We already have won it” he says. But there are millions of votes still to be counted in battleground states and the balance could tip either way. shorturl.at/eACX1
Conservative MP Laura Trott said: “We’re up to 500,000 tests a day”. On 2 November, labs had capacity for 521,016 tests to diagnose coronavirus (the number that could - in theory - be processed) But the number actually processed was less than half this - 207,817.

President Trump's "misleading" Covid post hidden by Twitter and deleted by Facebook bbc.in/3d2fIFS
This is the second time Facebook has removed a post from Trump over coronavirus misinfo👇 And both his comments about flu and not fearing Covid have fuelled false claims in Facebook groups that the pandemic is not real or serious! As well as outrage. My latest @BBCWorld
#BREAK Facebook has removed President Trump's post where he falsely claimed that Covid-19 is less deadly than the flu.
President Trump has tweeted comparing influenza to coronavirus, saying sometimes over 100,000 people a year die from flu in the US. But @CDCgov estimates show there have been no years in the last decade with that many deaths. The most was 61,000 for the 2017/18 flu season.
Boris Johnson said in a TV interview that people told to self-isolate would get: "£500 if you do, per week". That's wrong. The Test and Trace Support Payment of £500 - for those on lower incomes in England who have to self-isolate - is a one-off lump sum not a weekly payment.
No, these bikers aren’t praying for President Trump bbc.co.uk/news/live/worl… via @BBCNews
False claims have been circulating on social media, following President Trump's positive Covid test: ❌ No, a 'doomsday plane' (which can help launch nuclear missiles) was not launched in response - it has already flown 19 times in the past month 👇 bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-tre…
President Trump's positive test for Covid-19 has prompted questions about the US presidential election and what might happen if he became incapacitated (at the moment, he has "mild symptoms"). We've looked into these issues: bbc.co.uk/news/54387298
