If Cedric Coward decides to stay in the draft, Duke has a backup plan of Sebastian Wilkins to reclassify to 2025 and join the Blue Devils this fall. Duke has NIL waiting for Coward if he decides to come back. Duke is also in contact with Braydon Hawthorne and Desmond Claude.

I love it, but feel like Duke would need to add another big. Possibly a low level big that isn’t going to need a lot of minutes but would be used in foul trouble ect. A Ryan Young & Antonio Vrankovic type players come to mind.

100% agree. A nice blend is to have guys come back with confidence in knowing they’ve been there and done that with a mix of talented young players. If Duke can continue to use this formula (lose a few bring back a few) we will be watching them in April for quite some time.
Probably an unpopular opinion among the younger Duke fans, but I just don’t get nearly as excited for a high profile recruit as I do for a guy coming back for another year. I’ll celebrate them and be happy - but you give me a second or third year guy? Yeah that gets me fired up
I personally like the idea of this roster: PG: Boozer SG: Foster SF: Evans PF: Boozer C: Ngongba Bench: Harris Brown Henderson Khamenia Transfer Big ? Could see Henderson or Darren starting at the 2 as well. But a returning Foster imo is crucial for this squad.
Just wanted to get some people’s thoughts on intentionally fouling up 6 with under 30 seconds left? I just can’t help but to think if Duke does that we would be able to squeeze by with the win. Obviously if sharp doesn’t hit the three to cut it to 3 the games over also. Hard.
