Hitting is hard.. ➖ We don’t know what’s coming ➖ No more than half a second to recognize and react ➖Have to hit a small ball with a small bat Our training has to resemble the actual difficulties of hitting

The biggest constraint hitters have is TIME...we have to be able to train that on a consistent basis #BeOnTime

In-game hitting is a like taking a test...so shouldn’t you take as many practice tests as possible to ensure we are ready for the actual test? Train in an environment that relates to the actual test

If timing is key, then there should be timing drills in every players development process. What are you favorite timing drills?
In-game hitting is mostly done from the mind (timing, pitch selection, approach), but some hitting coaches just teach you how to swing....why is that? Any thoughts?
