Year 2 are enjoying their Discovery Learning sessions where they can choose their activity. Each activity builds on learning from the classroom lessons and allows the children to further explore and challenge themselves. #imagination #generalisation @BSMuscatY2 @BSMuscatPriDHTL

In Year 2 we are using #generalisation - using what we already know to help us with our learning. We used the number facts we know to help us with new number facts. Great work Year 2! @BSMuscatY2 @BSMuscat
We are learning about life cycles in Year 2. Using our what we know about some life cycles and applying it to other life cycles as we link our learning to animal groups and our previous lessons on adult and offsprings. #linking @BSMuscatY2 @BSMuscat @HPLedu
Year 2 have been finding out about Katie Morag in their lessons and have been #connectionfinding linking their learning in English to their learning about countries and continents: "I think she is Scottish because she has a kilt on." @bsmuscat @BSMuscatPrimary #HPL
We have been using our HPL #generalisation skills to apply prior knowledge to new information. 'I can remember doing this or seeing this before.' We reviewed our learning of continents from Year 1 and added to it with more information. Excellent work Year 2! @BSMuscatY2

What a way to end our unit on 'The Day the Crayons Quit'. To hear our students saying that this was the best day ever was just fantastic. We explored every corner of the curriculum through the book and ended by welcoming our crayons back! @BSMuscatY2 @BSMuscatHeadPri
