The peace of our souls does not have to rise and fall with unpredictable people or situations. Our feelings will shift, of course. People do affect us. But the peace of our souls can be tethered to all that God is. We can let His Word wrap around our souls with steady assurance.
No matter how impossible that miracle you are praying for seems, please trust that only God knows the full story. He is working. He is hearing and shifting and intervening and convicting and stirring and doing what only He can do.
Satan will always do his best to try and convince us that we can’t trust God to work things out. But God wants us to remember He can make a way. Psalm 9:10, “Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.”
It’s hard when we're living in that space where our head knows God can do anything but our heart's heavy because He’s not doing what we’ve prayed for. Don't lose hope. Just because we can’t see it or feel it doesn’t mean He’s doing nothing. God often works in the unseen.
Oh, friend… sometimes our toughest hardships can lead to our greatest purpose. Let’s surrender every hurt to Him and trust Him to do miraculous things.
Choosing a gentle reply doesn’t mean you’re weak; it actually means you possess a rare and godly strength. “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” Proverbs 15:1
Spending some time getting quiet can really be the best remedy for tangled situations. Taking a step back from all the emotion, frustration, and exhaustion to sit quietly with Jesus will do more to untangle a mess than anything else I’ve ever found.
So thankful for the God we serve. A God who responds to our cries for help. A God who is always working behind the scenes to make the unlikely absolute reality. A God who wants His people to believe. Really believe. And live like we really believe.
Satan wants us to believe the lie that we can’t trust God to work things out. But God wants us to remember He can make a way. Here is a simple verse we can put on repeat tonight: “In you, Lord my God, I put my trust.” Psalm 25:1
Satan is the father of lies and he wants you to believe that you are left out, lonely and less than. Don’t believe his toxic deception. The truth is you are loved by God. And His love can never be diminished, tarnished, shaken or taken. His love never rejects or uninvites.
Our buildings might be empty but we’re still doing everything we can to serve our students & community. Just last week we served over 4100 meals. And since the closure began, we’ve hosted over 670 online meetings. #wearewestcounty
God will accomplish good even when life doesn’t look good or feel good. Even if we can’t see it, I pray we’ll choose to believe it. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28 (NIV)
When our circumstances are hard and we’re tempted to let our hearts slip into despair, I pray we will remember this: God is working things out. He is present. His plan is still good and He can still be trusted. These are true certainties even when life feels so very uncertain.

We serve a God who breathes life into the shattered soul and creates something new and more beautiful than ever before. And you are never so broken that God can’t make something beautiful out of your life. Dare to believe it, sweet friend.
Fake letter circulating on social media, saying DESE will not allow students to move on to the next grade level. NOT TRUE. Disappointed someone chose to joke about something this serious given the anxiety & uncertainty so many students & families are dealing with right now.
Remember... God will lead you with love & conviction but never accusation or condemnation. The enemy wants you to stare & compare in all the ways you already feel inadequate. But God isn’t measuring you by what you are or aren’t accomplishing. He loves you & wants your heart.❤️
Forgiveness doesn’t validate the ones who have hurt us, and it doesn’t justify their hurtful actions. Giving grace saves us. It sets us free.
Love isn’t what we have the opportunity to get from this world. Love is what we have the opportunity to give. Dear Lord, thank You so much for Your love. Because we are abundantly loved by You, we have an abundance of love to give. Help us to live loved and to give love.
What if we look at the word "impossible" a little differently? It changes completely if we just stick a little apostrophe between the first two letters. Then it becomes “I’m-Possible.” God is the Great I AM. He is our possibility in the midst of all that feels impossible.
