Pete Alonso needs 27 HRs on the season to pass Darryl Strawberry on the Mets all-time HR list. Strawberry also held the Mets rookie HR record with 26, and Pete 'needed' 27. Thought it was interesting that Alonso needs to hit the same milestone as he did in 2019.
