As a small business owner I have no doubt whatsoever it would facilitate entrepreneurship and give start up founders a vital baseline of income. It's venture capital for ordinary people.

Absolutely delighted my motion on Universal Basic Income passed and a feasibility study of what a trial will look like will now take place. @belfastcc will also start looking at making this a reality and look at the lessons and successes of other countries.
