A quick 🧵 about our appointments. There are many places to get tested in MA, and many of them offer walk-ins. Our sites are different: appointment-only so we can rapidly test as many as possible, taking the burden off those other sites so they can serve those most in need.

Heads up that our platform is having a few hiccups this evening, so you may experience some issues. We're working hard on this, and rest assured we won't lose anyone's data or results. We hope to have things back and working smoothly before you know it. ♥️

Love love love when we have the chance to bring in a team that shares our long-term mission focus at @ginkgo in biosecurity ❤️❤️ Welcome @Beacon_Testing we're fortunate to have you on the team!! 🌱🧬$DNA

The winter weather hits keep coming. In Lynn, storm winds have done significant damage to the tent, not to mention flooding from the storm surge. 🌊🌬️ We're closing Lynn for today. Where possible, staff is heading to other site and we're expanding availability at those.

Cold weather always throws some curveballs. Both our primary and backup generators are down at our Lynn site, so we're canceling appointments until we can get back online. We definitely want to get testing in today before tomorrow's storm. The team's working as fast as possible!

With the impending winter storm, it's looking like a pretty rotten day for testing tomorrow. Especially at the outdoor sites, but even on the roads to get to indoor sites. We'll be closed all day in Lynn. In Framingham, we'll close for the morning and see how it goes for PM.🤞🌨️

Most don't know the Express Testing sites we operate in MA are just part of what we do. Our software is used to power many other test locations – many private, most labeled with other names. Our mission: help any site test as many as possible, efficiently, whether "ours" or not.

Busy morning for us, trying to get in as many tests as possible before our partners @broadinstitute close their lab for the holiday. Have your appointment confirmation ready and we'll be ready with the swab! 🏃⚡️🚄

Did you have an appointment earlier today when we had the outage? We'll honor it anytime today. Need to rebook for tomorrow? Call (617.741.7310) or email ([email protected]) our support team and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Services are slowly recovering, but will be sluggish until the outage is completely resolved. Please be patient with things, and thanks! ♥️

Sorry everyone – we'd avoided the last few AWS outages that affected the rest of the internet, but this one has bitten us. We're working as hard as we can to recover, but it's partially dependent on AWS's outage being resolved. status.aws.amazon.com

A reminder that all our public testing sites are appointment-only. Appointments can be booked online and, at our public sites, are free of charge. This helps keep us moving and lets us test as many as possible. We cannot accommodate anyone who shows up without an appointment 🙏

Getting tested this week? You're not alone! We have ramped up capacity to offer as many tests as possible. So far, lines have been reasonable: generally fewer than a handful of cars waiting. Be sure to have your appointment QR code ready to keep things moving! 💪❤️👃

Well, that's a wrap at our sites until Saturday! Fun 🦃 facts: Thanksgiving Week 2020, we screened about 3800 people. This week, we've helped screen 21,000. We're thankful to our team for all they've done this past year, and wish you and yours a safe and great Thanksgiving.

With impending severe weather, we'll try something a bit different: We'll be open 8a-4p tomorrow in Revere, New Bedford, & Framingham instead of 11a-7p, hoping to get a solid day of testing in & avoid the worst of the storm. We've notified affected patients. Stay safe! ⛈️🌬️🌊
