The Lithuanian Foreign Ministry has put Lukashenko and 31 other Belarusian officials on the list of the ones banned from entering the country. The list includes, among others, officials representing OMON, KGB and the electoral commission. List awaits approval. #Belarus
Officially: Lukashenka called Putin and asked him to ask Merkel not to interfere in the affairs of Belarus. “The main thing we want is the West not to support those who destabilize the situation in Belarus” - Lukashenka’s spokesperson.
Popular pop-rock group J-MORS came to Salihorsk to support the workers of Belaruskalii who announced the strike demanding new fair elections.
Hrodna. Thousands of workers of Hrodna-Azot and their supporters protest in support of the nation-wide strike. Locals came to support the workers, the pizzeria brought free pizza.
Propaganda. Belarus state television is broadcasting these ads after each program. The video starts with beautiful shots of Belarus nature, then photo of Tsikhanouskaya and text: "But I don't like it. I will change it". And pictures of the bombed cities, US flag, slaves. The end.
Minsk. The city block with the KGB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been isolated. Two nearby streets have been blocked. The side of the Nezavisimosti avenue where the KGB is located has been closed to pedestrians. The officers are setting a perimeter. #belarus #freeby
