I would really like a nice vacation. From both my jobs. Do you know how hard it is to study schematics while listening to gunfire?
@Doctor_Iksian The problem will probably be way out of my league but what is wrong? If it's a mechanical issue, I can maybe offer advice.
Wow it's been forever since I posted here. Sorry for the quiet. Lots of work keeping me busy lately. Hopefully I'll get a break soon.
Project had a setback that's kept me busy at work. Sorry for not talking here much.
Okay, I've flipped through the book some now and it has a lot of details on abandoned subway stations and tunnels under different cities.
Anybody know anything about a book called 'The Book of Secrets' or who might have left it?
I woke up this morning when somebody knocked on my door. When I answered there was nobody there but somebody left a package with a book.
Ugh. Oliver brought over Chinese tonight and he got pork fried rice. He says I can just pick the pork out. Yuck!
Long day at work, catching up on my project. I suspect that I'm going to be drug back out to Kingsmouth soon, too.
Feeling much better today. I had myself some ice cream and am enjoying cuddles with Quark. She likes ice cream, too!
The good news! I don't have strep throat after all. The bad news. I have tonsillitis, which is strep throat's bigger, meaner brother.
Quark is strange. She has her ears back and tail lashing but is purring, rubbing against me and gently chewing my fingers.
So glad my project is in a stage where I can stay home and still work on it. Definitely telecommuting tomorrow.
Apparently I'm still not immune to strep throat. What a miserable way to spend Chanukah.

Oliver has officially decided to let me keep Quark. Only rule is that any time he comes over she has to go stay in the spare room.
Quark didn't seem to mind being banished to the spare bedroom this evening while Oliver was over. She hissed a little and went to sleep.
