Working late was always the mark of a dedicated employee. The pandemic changed that. Now, companies are experiencing "the dead zone" during the day. The clock strikes 4 pm, and the office gets really quiet. Have you experienced this phenomenon at work?
In July, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that pay increases are finally outpacing inflation for the first time in two years. Hourly average pay has been growing at an annual rate of 4.4% for a few months now.
