I’m building a machine that is made out of plastic to weld plastic. This is one of the swappable modules. The glowing is just looks. NiChrome wire goes up to 220 degrees C and unfortunately doesn’t glow. Can anyone think of a use case for this except welding plastic foils?
Why buy when you can print springs? In the right applications, they work just as well, or better. Force? Tunable to the gram. Here’s a 12.75 N return spring, printed in one go. No post-processing. Ready straight from the build plate.
This, but for CAD design.
I get how it works conceptually and the engineering blows my mind. Trying to build it though? Immediate brain 404.
Look how the flight control system of the F-35B adjusts the angle of the nozzle to balance the aircraft. These adjustments occur in real-time, relying on sensors and computer algorithms to ensure precise stability, especially in short takeoff and vertical landing modes.
I used to be a well-behaved designer, fully defining every sketch in SW. Now I’m in @Siemens Solid Edge Synchronous mode—chaos, colors, and zero f*cks given. I sketch like a pig. Part fits like a glove. Best part? I delete the sketches I used. Don’t need them. Don’t want them.
