Zone 12 was one of Will Smith's main struggles this past season. It comes down to how deep he catches the ball, and presenting in elbow flexion. Clip 1 (Smith): Catches the ball deep, presents in elbow flexion Clip 2 (Hedges): Catch is out in front and at full elbow extension
Same pitch in both clips. Clip 1: Being in a RKD stance required bailey to go deeper into hip flexion (away from center of gravity) to leverage the ball back into the zone Clip 2: Right foot allowed Bailey to maintain trunk angle, giving him much more leverage around the ball.
