The only thing the Tez Walker situation really did was show just how incompetent the NCAA is. They made the wrong move at every single turn, including their final statement. Basically just blamed #UNC for all of it. Unbelievable, but so, so on-brand.

The NCAA's Division I Board puts out a statement, saying that committee members have been threatened over transfer waiver policies & adding that the board is "troubled" by UNC's public remarks:
The best (worst) part of this is that the @NCAA knows how wrong they are and they are choosing to screw over Tez Walker anyway. Almost like a dare for UNC to flex on them again...and this is a much more cut and dry case than the other thing even.
What a pathetic look for the NCAA on all fronts. Clearly don’t care about what best for the student-athlete despite putting out a promo about that exact thing YESTERDAY. This should just be more motivation for college football to separate from the NCAA.
