The most concerning part of the new X algo: everyone has a reputation score It can be anywhere between 0-100. The closer you are to 0, the less reach you get I'm fine with a rep score, but I think we should have transparency around what ours is and why we have it Agreed?

"why are kids so addicted to phones and iPads" their developing brains stand no chance against the highly dopaminergic blue light coming from these devices.

Kids developing retinas are up 45% more sensitive to blue light. Children also hold devices closer to their body, meaning they are being exposed to blue light at up to 4X the intensity! This means the dopaminergic and stimulatory response are magnitudes higher. 5-10X total…

Turning your phone on grayscale does not remove the blue light from your phone/computer/tablet. Instead the software color mixes the LEDs to form a gray color. Its a trick. You need to have a monochrome display at the pixel level, this is exactly what we have done @daylightco

theoretically, putting your phone on grayscale should remove all blue light from the screen, right? you might be left with some UV remnants, but it should remove alot of the dopaminergic effect?
