I do want to do something with it eventually. There really isn't much gameplay yet, but I might set up a Patreon or something soon to let interested people still try it.

Im kinda new around here. Will this be a game where you can interact with and change the biome? Or do you just explore and appreciate?

Yeah, the world is dynamic and interactive, most of the plants and animals and terrain will be designed by the players. I premade the grasses though - I'm not planning to have an editor for these, at least not initially.

It looks gorgeous ! Still going with a flat earth model? Besides erosion do you plan on doing more terraforming stuff like in simcity 4?

I wont be simulating round planets, yeah. But I might just make the playable region part of a larger planet - simulating climate on an enclosed disc got really messy.

Looks amazing! Looks like you are using quads for plants, how is the performance with all that overdraw?

It's okayish, considering the density. I do some basic optimizations, like computing a tight bounding box per sprite and cropping in shader. If it gets too bad, I might experiment with automatically precomputing convex hulls, but I doubt it's much of a net gain.
