Birdie is a free & beautiful Twitter client for elementary OS

For all you early adopters out there, we’ve been improving Birdie’s performance and smashing bugs - feel free to compile it from GitHub and send us any feedback or issues you have. We appreciate it :)

@suseLEAP That version is over a year old and is very broken. The new 2.0 beta will be available soon.

.@snwh has designed and developed a fantastic new website for our project. Huge, huge thanks. What do you think? birdieapp.eu

@suseLEAP In elementary OS, great built-in third-party media support and cross-app sharing. On other systems, you should stick with Corebird

We have a big announcement to make about Birdie's future: birdieapp.eu/2016/01/23/bui…

Got some news coming. Don't give up yet!

Thanks for all the pull requests lately. You're awesome!

So, those of you who already tried Birdie 2.0: what do you think?

All past issues were closed and the issue tracker is back. If you feel like an issue is still relevant to 2.0, ask us and we'll reopen it.

Looking better.

Birdie_Linux's tweet image. Looking better.

@andallen83 For some reason, some widgets (in our case, Gtk.Stack, if I remember correctly) don't behave correctly even with Ambiance.

I guess today could qualify as "by the end of November".

@andallen83 as such, there's nothing we can do to fix it

@andallen83 we haven't re-evaluated the issue since 14.04, but last time we checked it we found out it was an Ubuntu bug and not ours

@JustanBrandt Which distro are you using? We've heard about that issue from Ubuntu 14.04 users and found out it was a bug in Ubuntu.
