Account that supported Andrew Yang during 2020 Presidential run. I still believe Human-Centered Capitalism is the solution to America's problems.

This is a mood.
The fact many blue check leftists were gloating Yang's loss rather than be deeply disturbed by Eric Adams winning told me all I needed to know. I'm left-leaning in many aspects, but I want nothing to do w/ these 'progressives'. Very little attempts to find common ground w/ YG.
Sweet.
You ain't seen nothing yet. Support unconditional basic income NOW, before these numbers grow much larger. foxbusiness.com/economy/ai-cos…
I've been saying this forever. There's a market to be gained. People on the right keep complaining about not getting the black vote...and then their politicians never show up to our areas...and then they never get the black vote...and then their politicians never show up...and...
First step to success for the GOP in 2024: show up. America First includes *all* Americans. Productive day in the South Side of Chicago.
You think this is an accomplishment? Why is our civilization trash?
It's official! La Sombrita, our shade and lighting pilot for the @LADOTofficial Gender Equity Action Plan, was unveiled this morning
I can't say it more plainly than this: We need to stay in touch with reality. Race relations will not be improved through denial. The cultural pathologies afflicting poor black communities must be addressed. youtu.be/-JvS15JP9Co

A) 2300 is still a lot B) If a homeless dude yells at you threatens you and craps in the subway car that's not a felony and isnt included in the already high 2300 but does that mean the train riders are safe? And if they aren't, why is it OK for them to not be safe?
In 1990, a few years before I moved to NYC, there were 18,000 felonies on the subways, NPR just reported, compared to 2300 last year. Anyone who, like me, was a regular rider back then w/out thinking it was highly unsafe should take pause before assuming this is the case today.
Instead of accepting the "human disintegration" unfolding in one-party cities like Seattle and San Francisco, @AndrewYang argues @Fwd_Party could put pressure on Democrats to do better. FULL: Patreon.com/posts/sws-dism… #unDivided
Good interview of @AndrewYang by @choeshow. Our cities have critical problems, and I'm happy that Yang and the @Fwd_Party understand that and are looking to bring change.
#EXCLUSIVE: The Yang Gang is in #Seattle this weekend! Andrew Yang(@AndrewYang) energized a room full of movers and shakers in the city's business, media, and political scene. Very impressive crowd. The first Asian American Democrat to ever run for the Oval Office continues to…
New reporting from the huge ongoing 12-year universal basic income experiment in Kenya. The BBC returns to the same village it visited 5 years ago: "My life before, I had worries, but now, I feel so excited. I'm very happy. There is a change in the village." "The money does…
Thousands of Kenyan villagers are being given free cash as part of a huge trial being run by an American non-profit, GiveDirectly. "A kind of universal basic income". Five years on, the BBC’s Mary Harper returns to see what’s changed. bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/w3…
What if a homeless man yelling on the NYC subway wasn't normal?
When #JerrySpringer was mayor of Cincinnati, Nazis wanted to march downtown. He knew he had to allow it but worried what his parents—who were Holocaust survivors—would think. They told him, "This is America... Let 'em march." RIP to a principled free speech advocate.
Monday on andrewyang.com/podcast the original @scottsantens comes back to talk what’s next for Universal Basic Income in the era of ChatGPT and generative AI.

Nice to know it's not just African-American non-profits that are full of corruption.
Front runner to run against London Breed is SF political machine candidate Phil Ting This corrupt politician paid his mistress with public funds from his nonprofit Chinese Progressive Association, one that benefited massively from “Stop Asian Hate” public funding Disgusting
OK. I wonder how far "free birth" goes. Do all the regular check-ins a pregnant woman goes to count? Those are necessary and can get really expensive. Would a couple trying for IVF count? They're trying to create a life. Universal healthcare would be easier...
"Very hard to have real liberty, in the sense that our Founders actually meant it, if you can't actually control your own life without being immiserated by somebody, whether it's by the IRS or by an insurance company." @JDVance1

Build. The. Homes. This mother describes her "eye opening experience" where she comes to grips with what the housing shortage is doing to her hardworking 25 yr old son making $40,000 a year.
I second this @AndrewYang. I know you never fully stopped talking about it, but I think you should now be emphasizing it as much as you did during your 2020 campaign.
I really, really think you should start talking about the need for UBI again, now more than ever.
Doctors at a major US insurance company deny tens of thousands of claims a month without even looking at patients’ files. “We literally click & submit,” a former Cigna doctor told @ProPublica & @Capitol_Forum. “It takes all of 10 seconds to do 50 at a time.” The inside story 🧵
