Psychiatric drugs stole my soul. They changed me into a powerless, terror filled, weeping suicidal mess. Found the CURE. Got off all psych drugs, fired psychiatry. 3 years later..no symptoms.

Congratulations psychiatry, you’ve done it again. All the raver kids are walking around with watermelon and berry flavored ketamine nasal bottles. I have seen at least 30 people with them today alone at a music festival. One told me it helps with his depression.

Did you know your hair could fall out by the handful from withdrawal from antidepressants and benzos? This happened near the end of year one. I lost a lot of hair. It looked like I was undergoing chemotherapy.

Since they're all done on subjects exposed to psychiatric drug treatment, studies like this one likely inadvertently profile the neurobiological effects of psychiatric drugs. However, psychiatric neuroscience ignores this probability, you'll never find this in their conclusions.

This is extraordinary. It’s taken almost 25 years to issue an ‘expression of concern’ regarding a study that harmed a generation of children, by downplaying that paroxetine was no more effective than placebo and was linked to increased risks of suicidal thoughts and behaviors.

As my late husband always said, “Follow the money.” Once you see, you can’t unsee. My eyes were opened in 2003, after Woody’s out-of-nowhere suicide—just weeks after being prescribed Zoloft for insomnia. That tragedy ripped away any illusion of blind trust.

The mass prescribing of SSRIs over telemedicine by doctors who spend 5 minutes (if that) with their patients is the worse medical care in the world

Canceled by the Ohio House Health Committee today! But I wanted to speak on why I oppose HB-324: 50 mg of Zoloft a day changed my life, and I want Ohioans in similar situations to be able to access that care, too, because depressive people aren’t known for their hoop-jumping.

This is the first time I have encountered someone other than myself ask this kind of question Responses are interesting

I'm fascinated by the question of whether psychiatric medications can promote subtle character drifts, e.g., could SSRIs promote a subtle callousness, ADHD stimulant-meds a subtle individualism?

These whining, troublesome patients just continue to cause trouble. I wonder if there is an inherent property of dependence and withdrawal to a synthetic substance which alters neurobiology taken for long periods, not seen in short term trials? Or nah just a conspiracy theory

What Mark describes is very real: any time I am w/ a large group of psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, theres always a number of them sidling up to ask for help with a family member (or themselves) trying to get off a psych drug. Often, these are the same ones…

Looking forward to this room being full in a few minutes to talk to pharmacists in England. Already had the usual buttonholing to ask for advice for pharmacists’ spouses having trouble coming off their drugs. Anti psychiatrists everywhere evidently!

Discouraging or preventing the patient from exercising their human rights is indeed an ethical dilemma

Thank goodness for @PloederlM and his dedication to what the data actually show rather than what professional groups would like them to show.

MAHA or no MAHA we know that anti-depressants in young people are ineffective and increase risk of suicide, a fact that too many psychiatrists are in denial about madinamerica.com/2025/10/a-call…

Even SHORT term use of SSRI drugs has HUGE RISKS that can be IRREVERSIBLE

I would wager that not a single person in the United States has been carefully and comprehensively informed about the potential risks of long-term #SSRI use-- among them, the possibility that you'll need to essentially become your own pharmacist in order to safely taper off them…
