Yesterday evening, Blue Ash Mayor Jill Cole officially swore in our new Chief of Police, Roger Pohlman. In addition, Lt Todd Stewart, Sgt Robert Moe, Sgt Chady Chahine, PO Zac Swearingen, and PO Charles Howard took their oaths of office.
Three of our best! In addition to keeping Blue Ash safe, these guys take decades of military and SWAT experience to the HCPA SWAT, protecting all of Hamilton County. Thanks to PO Jason Asbury, PO Eric Bolser, and Detective Sergeant Mike Jackson for your service!
Chief Pohlman, Lt Stewart and Sgt Chahine provided a gift of appreciation from the Blue Ash Police Association to @HamiltonCoUSAR. They provide incredible resources to local agencies. Thanks to all the men and women that give their time to this great organization!

Blue Ash Police Department therapy dog, Licorice, has received an award from the Ohio School Safety Center. He received the 2025 National Therapy Animal Day Award for his dedication to enhancing the physical and emotional well-being of students and staff in Ohio’s schools.

Mayor Jill Cole proclaimed that May 2 will be “Police Chief Scott Noel Day” in the City of Blue Ash to congratulate him on his upcoming retirement. Chief Noel will retire in late April/early May after 23 years with the Blue Ash Police Department. Congrats, Chief Noel!
