There's no excuse not to! not in 2019. Its common sense, expecially when the strategies for care experienced children can help all children reach their potential.
Teachers' Standards say they should "have a clear understanding of the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND; those of high ability, those with English as an additional language; those with disabilities" We think that care-experienced children should be on that list.
DfE calling now for trauma-informed practice in schools following review of outcomes for CIN. This is a break through. Guidance needed on what it means in practice & @Ofstednews need to know what to look for. If the new framework uses word impeccable - a sign they still don't.
