Couldn't agree more, how ridiculous. Where has common sense gone to? they've made it look like a crime scene!

This is absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary!! How scary for children! There are plenty of other nicer ways of doing this if you don’t want your children to touch the books!!

Particularly relevant for adopted children, many are living with a retained moro reflex i.e. survival mode, dominating daily behaviour. Treatment really works!

There's no excuse not to! not in 2019. Its common sense, expecially when the strategies for care experienced children can help all children reach their potential.

Teachers' Standards say they should "have a clear understanding of the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND; those of high ability, those with English as an additional language; those with disabilities" We think that care-experienced children should be on that list.

DfE calling now for trauma-informed practice in schools following review of outcomes for CIN. This is a break through. Guidance needed on what it means in practice & @Ofstednews need to know what to look for. If the new framework uses word impeccable - a sign they still don't.
