John was a lovely man who was passionate about using the internet as a force for social good. First met him at the inaugural #BlueLightCamp and remained in touch ever since. He will be sadly missed.
We are heartbroken to announce that John, the most loving husband, dad and granddad, passed away yesterday. He passed peacefully in his sleep with family by his side. We want to thank you all for the positivity you showed him as it gave him great strength in his final weeks (1/2)
This incident has kept our coastguard rescue teams and helicopters busy this afternoon. Jumping from height into the unknown is never a good idea and totally irresponsible.
