⚠️ An EXTREME wildfire warning has been issued for the whole of Scotland for Friday, 26 September. There is also a VERY HIGH warning in place for all of Scotland from tomorrow, Wednesday, 24 September until Thursday, 25 September. More information ➡️ firescotland.gov.uk/news/scotland-…

We have six appliances, a high reach appliance and specialist resources at a fire affecting a recycling centre on London Road in Glasgow. There are no reported casualties. Due to levels of smoke in the area, nearby residents are asked to keep windows and doors closed.

We are in attendance at a fire affecting a derelict building on Ash Grove in Blackburn. Four fire appliances and a high reach appliance are in attendance. There are no reported casualties. Please avoid the area if possible, and keep windows and doors closed for the time being.

Three fire appliances remain in attendance at a fire affecting garden waste on Wright Avenue in Dundee. Due to smoke affecting areas of Dundee, Newport and Tayport, we ask that members of the public avoid the area, and local residents keep their windows and doors closed.
