You know what’s laughable, Solomon Rondon would have been starting every game for Dyche in DCL’s absence and we bombed him to get him off the wages in Jan, because we needed the money to get a replacement, we then didn’t replace him! Everton thaaaaa #EFC

The game situation suited him far better than the derby, an opportunity to actually run channels to some avail, use his physical presence in a positive manner rather than just with his back to goal trying to win scraps against two very good LFC centre halves. Really positive!
Decent cameo from Ellis Simms yesterday. The ball to put Doucoure through was superb, but he also ran the channels, occupied defenders and won his fair share of challenges. Could be a useful impact sub between now and end of season
