OMG, what has happened to customer service? 2 weeks to solve a tech glitch that cut me off from my bank account and now nearly a week to get my new computer to work with a usb hub. I guess I'm overdue for it. I think 2008 was my last truly terrible customer service experience 🤷♂️
Oh, massive result! It's now been transferred across to the IT team and I should expect a result by next Wednesday! Go @barclays!
Rep 3 - final advice "turn your computer off for 30 minutes and try again". 😂No, seriously. Also, if it doesn't work call us back tomorrow. On phone now with @Barclays rep 4 raising some sort of support claim. Yay.
Also, finally a DM from @Barclays twitter team. Then no response to my reply for 4 days. Did ask for contact details but still no call. Meanwhile, Rep 3 - no tech knowledge. I had to explain to him difference between Pin Sentry and Mobile Pin Sentry.
Finally talked to a real person @Barclays last week. Rep 1- helpful but no tech knowledge. Eventually asked me to uninstall/install app. App wouldn't install resulting in now TOTAL loss of access to account. Rep-2 better. App installed, credit card paid. Still no online access.
