Spoke with a newly retired friend today, cautioning her from my experience that when you've lived a very active, tightly scheduled life it can be hard to detach & relax. It takes time. You don't suddenly quit caring about issues or friends & allies.
Had to have the sheriff come out & dispatch a doe this morning. Looks like she was hit by a car yesterday & only got as far as the front of our house. So sad!😪. I hope the person who was speeding through & hit her has serious damage to his car. Slow down!!!
