It was brutal. One possession game, ferocious effort from both teams, and Stan Van Gundy is over there telling an endless anecdote about marinating his steaks overnight in his favorite BBQ sauce.
The last 24 seconds of that game was actually 10 minutes of Stan Van Gundy yapping and is what I imagine hell would be like.

This is exactly what i’ve been saying since 2017. Astros, 2018 Red Sox, Dodgers, and now Jays. Every single one of those teams put the ball in play more than anyone else. It is possible to have HRs and contact in baseball. Yankees value HRs and seem to just ignore contact.
