That was unexpected! Stupid little boat! We borrowed this little boat and all was good until I leaned over to wash some fish slime off of my hands. The seat popped out of the plastic rail that it snaps into, and over the side I went. A perfect somersault into the lake!
Starting to go a little stir crazy staying at home and not out filming anything for two weeks.
I added a DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone to the aerial cameras for this year. Amazing 4K video and fun to fly.
I had a great time metal detecting on the Treasure Coast of Florida last week. I put my Minelab CTX 3030 in a new environment and found a few coins.
I was excited to get the official SCI score on my American Bison. It scored 55-2/8", surpassing the minimum 54" to make the record book! Thanks to cameraman Kenny Bayless and my Henry .45-70 rifle!
After consulting with Henry Rifles, I dismantled my .45-70 Long Ranger rifle so that I could remove the stock and forearm. I have a company that specializes in wood carvings wanting to do a custom buffalo for me. I can't wait to get it back in about 6 weeks.
We are enjoying a pot of Buffalo Chili on this cold evening. Talk about good meat to cook with!

I found out last night that my hunting host this week in South Carolina was hunting antelope outside Gillette, Wyoming the same day I was this year! I told him to stay at the Arbuckle Lodge next year. It has been a great place for us and they are hunter friendly!
Great sunrise this morning in a swamp in South Carolina. I can’t believe it will be in the 70’s today and I am dealing with mosquitoes. No deer yet, but I have 3 days to enjoy the weather in a tree stand.

I found the leading edge of the storm coming across Montana and Wyoming, and am heading in. The temperature has dropped 15 degrees in 10 minutes. I hope it stays warm enough to only be rain!
