I did a 5k with 2459 ft in elevation gain in 55:40 at 15% incline. I need to do better but it’s a start.
Went out for 5-6, came out with 9.1. Hard to beat the Virginia mountains in the spring. No phone with me but I did have snakes, deer, skinks, birds, minnows, frogs, tadpoles, pops of green with buds everywhere and tiny purple flowers.
Miles done before the rain. Almost got lost on a new trail. Tried the new LMNT sparkling water in a can. Still too salty for me! I might have to do capsules when I up my miles. 24 trail miles and 6,800 feet of vert since last Thursday!
