Sometimes your parent(s) don’t even be the problem anymore, it’s your inability to let go of that resentment & see them in a new light. Still viewing them through your hurt. Know when you’re sticking up for yourself & when you’re just punishing someone for their past actions.

Wife and I decided to outsource Christmas cooking this year. Food landed at 10am. Everybody don chop before noon. No stress And so by the power vested me in as the olori ebi of my household, I have decreed a new Christmas family tradition: no cooking whatsoever on Christmas day.
