After a long weekend and lots of swimming the team had a lot to be proud of! Lots of PBs and a few school records to round up all the accomplishments this weekend! Chaise Rigney 100 Br- 1:08.33 200 Br- 2:37.90 Bella Bucio 200 Back- 2:04.80 Courtney Mann 200 Br- 2:50.93
The team had a great meet today at the 1st annual Mary Jannides Invite! The boys placed 2nd overall and the girls placed 1st overall! We are back in action next week for the Southwest Classic on Saturday and Sunday! @BotkinsSchool
We competed against Bellefontaine and Minster last night and had an all around good meet! Congrats to Chaise Rigney for breaking the 100 Breaststroke record as well! A time of 1:11.07 is just the tip of the iceberg for this Junior who will surely get faster! @BotkinsSchool
The team started the 25-26 season last night with a win over Sidney! A quick meet but plenty to build off of and be excited for. Our next meet is next Tuesday December 9th @ Bellefontaine
Last night Bella became the first girl in school history to podium at state at the state swimming and diving meet. Swimming in a competitive field, she placed 8th and earned her spot with all-Ohio honors! Congrats on a great season Bella and goodluck for the rest of club swim!!!
Bella Bucio swims a 58.79 in the 100 backstroke at state and seeds herself seventh going into finals. This means Bella will automatically podium tomorrow night! Congrats Bella!
Bella Bucio does it again! This time in the 100back! Breaking her own school record again and placing 3rd at the districts!! A time of 58.50 seeds automatically qualifies her for the state meet and she is now the highest individual placer at swim districts in school history!!!
BELLA goes crazy in the 200 IM with a time of 2:12.12 breaking her own school record and seeding her self unofficially 14th in the state for the event! LESSS GOOOOO
Boys medley starts off the day moving up two spots for 22nd in the ranking with a season best 1:57.14!

The girls 400 freestyle relay of Roberts, Paul, Jutte, and Bucio sneak into districts in 24th to finish out the day for the Trojans at sectionals!!
Bella Bucio Wins her sectional in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:00.25 seeding her 7th for districts
Bella qualifies In her first individual at districts in the 200IM SEEDED 10th place! This also a new school record time!
BELLA BUCIO swims a PB in the 200IM and places 2nd in our sectional with a time of 2:14.83! Awaiting district seeding!
The girls medley of Bucio, Paul, Roberts and Jutte swim a seasons best in the event and place 8th at sectionals!
It’s day two of sectionals but we had a late result come in last night after 11pm! Oliver Schmerge qualifies in HIS second individual as well! Seeded 27th in the 100 Back!
FREE relay comes up with a 20th place seed to move onto the Districts meet! Heuker, J.Schmerge, Rigney and O. Schmerge will be staying Alittle longer in Miami next week!
