Sunday Productivity Pro Tip: Close tabs on your computer that don’t pertain to your immediate task. Your brain takes in and processes information in its visual field whether you’re concentrating on it or not. When you remove the visual distractions, your brain can help you more.
Productivity Pro Tip: Forgive yourself. Often, we hold ourselves to impossible standards and when we fall short of perfect, stop. This kind of thinking can derail productivity. So next time you fall short of a goal, forgive yourself. Chances are you’re still doing pretty well.
Productivity Pro Tip: If you are working on a long-term project, break it up into several shorter-term projects. Set deadlines for the pieces that make up the bigger project. That way, it does not get overwhelming and you have small successes to help you maintain your motivation.
Productivity Pro tip: If you tend to start one project and end up finding yourself working on something else, set an egg timer or other alarm for 15 minute intervals...when it goes off, it’s your reminder to check and make sure that you’re working on the intended project.
Productivity tip: Before getting out of bed, visualize yourself working on your first or most important task of the day. Your brain will start processing ideas about it as you go about your morning routine and when you sit to do it, you’ll engage quicker and be more efficient.
It takes energy for your brain to keep it all in...let it out when you can!
#JustTheTip #Tuesday: If you’re mind is feeling cluttered, take a few minutes to write everything down. Don’t worry about sentence/structure, grammar, etc...just jot down key words. It will help clear your mind. #braindump
#JustTheTip #Tuesday: Use your Notes & Calendar app to alleviate a ton of pressure of trying to remember everything. I’m amazed at the amount of people who just simply don’t write things down 🤯 Use your brain to create ideas, not store them. #wholovesya
