They should have called it “GitHub Galaxy” - the alliteration has a ring to it

Alright @Azure , who didn’t do their security training, got locked out and took all of the web down with it?

Been using Claude 4.5 Sonnet Alpha Skunk for 193 days now and I think it’s finally over for developers. It is changing everything I knew about software engineering

New fastest shortest-path algorithm in 41 years! Tsinghua researchers broke Dijkstra’s 1984 “sorting barrier,” achieving O(m log^(2/3) n) time. This means faster route planning, less traffic, cheaper deliveries, and more efficient networks - and a CS curriculum revamp =)

Huge computer science result: A Tsinghua professor JUST discovered the fastest shortest path algorithm for graphs in 40yrs. This improves on Turing award winner Tarjan’s O(m + nlogn) with Dijkstra’s, something every Computer Science student learns in college.

The x Software Engineering content is exhausting. All the new EhEye models, potato architectures, tabs and spaces arguments. I need a new topic to follow like gardening or fishing

Facebooks buying spree feels like it means they’ve lost their startup spunk and hacker culture. I know large companies make acquisitions but they’re looking to reinvigorate their culture with young startups and get back to moving fast and breaking things

If you want to learn something, put down the tutorials and start building. Take a project from start to finish and from local to deployed and running on a server
