On this day in 1965 @RollingStones were at No.1 in the UK with ’(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction’, giving the band their 4th UK No.1 single. It’s a damning indictment of mid 60’s American radio and television advertising.

Often claimed to feature #BrianJones on #sitar, but it's actually #DaveMason.
Featured on the WEST COAST SEATTLE BOY box, "Little One" was developed over two sessions at Olympic Studios in December 1967. Starting with #JimiHendrix on guitar and Dave Mason on sitar; Jimi later added bass overdubs while Mitch Mitchell replaced drums first recorded by Jimi.

I finally managed to find a nice clean example of the Aulos recorder Brian played during late 1966. #BrianJones #TheRollingStones #Aulos #Recorder
