“Of course! The place only had a teensy little explosion.” He’s just joking: there were no explosions at all. He laughs and walks over to hug Brigs, even though it’s not professional of him. “I’m really glad you’re okay, I was worried that something bad happened to you.”
"At ease, gentlemen." He says, but he's got a small smile on his face. "I'm glad to be back. I trust you've kept the place tidy while I've been missing?" He's missed their banter. But it feels natural, like he'd never left.
“Sir!” He’s standing there with Yates and Benton, they all wear relieved grins. “We finally got you back! We were all worried about you.”
