Application tip #3: If you have a friend also applying for training contracts or vacation schemes at the moment, offer a proof-reading exchange. You will both benefit from a second person spotting any errors in your application and you can build peer support while in lockdown.

Application Tip: Be sure to tailor your application to the firm you are applying to. Could your cover letter be sent to any law firm and make sense? Or is there something more specific you can say about why you are applying to that firm?
Application tip: with only 9 days to go before the deadline, try to finish your draft early and have a trusted friend or family member read over your application. A second pair of eyes can help spot spelling and grammatical errors.
