Illari, Lifeweaver, Mercy, Moira, Sigma, Sombra, Symmetra and Tracer all have their strange abilities actually explained in the lore through science. Kiriko's hasn't. Her lore is so lazy and we just need to accept that. It's the devs fault for that though.
