It is with heavy heart that we say goodby to a member of our Burgin School Family. Bob Burgin passed away last Friday. For 15 years he & Tillie came to our school to congratulate our students from the "Tillie & Bob Burgin Junior Scholar Program". May God bless him always...

Nothing more envigorating than letting 5th grade students review "close circuits" with Snap Circuit kits, and see them explore and modify the projects to create new ones. Awesome thinking!!!
Second graders loved making "Painbrush flowers" to go with their study of The legend of the Paintbrush. It warmed my librarian's ♥️ to hear their accounts of the story...
Pebble Go was the ideal tool for third graders doing research on famous African American figures. Students were focused and were thrilled to find interesting facts. I love when students leave the library asking "Could we do this again the next time?"
After reading the 2x2 book: Three Billy Goats Buenos, second graders had fun creating "paper bridges" for prospective billy-goats crossing 🐐🐐🐐
