As an activist known for being strategically *uncivil* (mocking CEOs, shaming DHS Sec Nielsen out of a restaurant), I want to clarify something: The pushback against online abuse/harassment from a segment of Bernie supporters is not about civility. It is about tactics. 1/
It would be awesome if Sanders supporters took the lead of @IlhanMN and Bernie himself in trying to build a coalition with grace and not schadenfreude. Not seeing a lot of that right now, but one can always hope humanity will find a way.

The numbers don’t lie. Even if Bernie got HALF of Liz’s votes in all states (which is GENEROUS cause the data doesn’t support it) it doesn’t make up for his nearly 100 delegate deficit. Sanders didn’t do any internal Democrat coalition building and his “youth” didn’t show up.
