It's seeming more and more like Colt Canada might be doing things that CZ didn't know about, and now they're in damage control.
UPDATE: @ColtCZGroup, Czech holding company and Owner of Colt Canada, Colt USA, CZ USA, and more... NOW says CZ, the parent company based in Prague, is suddenly "not authorized to speak" on what its OWN American-based companies are doing. ie. Aiding Liberal gun confiscation. 🇨🇦

To be Clear The Licensed Dealers had to ship their Banned guns to COLT CANADA in Kitchener for destruction. COLT CANADA is acting for the Federal Government to confiscate guns.
Further confirmation that the property all guns were taken to is owned by Colt Canada
I also have confirmation that the 168 property is Colt's.

Sounds like CZ /Colt Canada just want their problems to dissapear. It's like they think we're stupid.
I am very reliably informed that Colt Canada now knows who I am. They're also going into a full information lockdown. I can't give too many details here out of concern of blowing sources. But yeah. It sounds like they're hoping this goes away if they can keep a lid on.

The biggest cost of this gun ban won't be the over a billion tax dollars it requires, nor the distraction it provides from the actual causes of crime. It'll be that millions of Canadians are about to have their trust in the political and judicial systems significantly eroded.
