I'm not sure I've ever covered high school baseball game in which all six pitchers - 4 from St. X, 2 from CAL - were as talented as last night's. St. X's Ben Tedesco, Quinten Shewmaker, Ty Starke and Luke Lantz and CAL's Jack Perdue and Jacob Price were solid. All college-bound.
UPDATE: Due to rain, the 7th Region game between Christian Academy and St. X will be played at Eastern High School at 8:00pm @CALbsb @StXTigersBSB
Rain went through field is game ready as if we put the sprinklers on it! 6pm is game time!
Alumni baseball players come out tonight at 6pm to cheer on the Centurions! Our field never looked better.
Headed to the state finals in shot put as regional qualifier.
