Congratulations to Towy & Cothi for winning every single Welsh hound class at the Royal Welsh Winter Fair today in very good company! This must be a first, with T&C Bomber taking the Welsh Championship from his kennel mates and going on to be champion hound of the show!

Finally, an apology from the council that banned angling. When we started campaigning against the appalling decision back in August, it seemed a done deal. It pays to fight back against bad decisions. We will keep up the fight! @CAupdates.

Ahead of the Autumn Budget, we have written to the Chancellor urging her to take ten key measures that we believe are of the utmost importance to rural communities. One of those asks is to not compromise farmers’ access to reduced-duty red diesel 👉 ca-campaign.org/4ib0Q9N

A superb day @SeneddWales for the Montgomeryshire Day hosted by @russ_george and supported by @FUW_UAC Fantastic employers from Sir Drefaldwyn showcasing their businesses accompanied by wonderful singing from Ysgol Gymraeg Y Trallwng. Rural Wales has SO much to offer the world!

We had to fight like dogs to get a 6 second disclaimer added to the end of a BBC current affairs programme about the badger cull, presented by a blatant partisan. The arguments advanced by the ‘programme’ had been completely undermined, but it didn’t stop the BBC from airing it.

🚨We learn tonight via @Telegraph, that following pressure, the BBC have added this very vital detail to Brian May’s badger cull documentary. Premise of documentary further undermined. Out tomorrow. What an avoidable mess. Even more questions now raised about BBC impartiality ⬇️
