Well done to our u/19 B team who played in Kilcullen today. They successfully played teams in Kildare and won the final against Newbridge College . Our U/19 A and B teams will now represent Kildare in the Leinster championship next January. Well done lads.
Hard luck to our U16 Basketball Team who lost a tightly contested Midlands A final vs. CBS Thursday, 46-33. Well done to all the lads fro a great year!
Many thanks to one of our parents Ruth Bailey for talking to our business students in the topic of entrepreneurship. Ruth shared her experience & students got the opportunity to appreciate how some of the material they learn in class applies in the real world of Business.

Shane Codd, Odhrán Kelly & Derec Mooney competed in the Senior Science Quiz All-Ireland Final on Saturday 06th December at Trinity College. Although it was hard luck this time, their dedication, teamwork, and passion for science were outstanding. Well done!

The Leaders of Learning were presented with their Student Leader badges during Assembly last week. The Leaders of Learning have been busy in their classes sharing the learning intentions and homework with other students and posting on their Google Classrooms.
Congratulations to many of our Fifth year students who were awarded their Bronze Gaisce Medals in a ceremony on Tuesday. The students completed their Bronze Gaisce Challenge while in Transition Year.
This week our 5th and 6th year Music classes had the opportunity to travel to the National Concert Hall in Dublin for a wonderful morning of music. The National Concert Hall is the home of classical music and performance in Ireland.
Our first year students had a wonderful opportunity to hear all about space, astronomy and planetary astrophotography today. We were delighted to welcome Ciaran O'Callaghan to our school, from the Naas Amateur Astronomy Society (NAAS).
Congratulations to the senior volleyball team who have qualified for the All Ireland Semi Final of the Senior B Championships. They had great contests with Patrician High-school and Cross and Passion Kilcullen last Friday to qualify for the semi final.
As part of Stand Up Week, we were delighted to have Cian Kelly, a former Naas CBS student, join us on Friday, 7th November, to talk with our fifth years.
Well done to the first and second years who travelled to the National Sports Arena to compete in the All-Ireland schools 4v4 blitz day. The lads who are nearly all beginners to the sport won 3 games and were narrowly beaten in the others finishing 4th out of 7 teams.
Congratulations to our four brilliant Science teams for competing in the ISTA Senior Science Quiz on Thursday, the 13th November 2025 in Maynooth University. 52 teams representing secondary schools from Kildare and Dublin competed on the night.
