Such an inspiring talk today for our y9 & 10 students delivered by endurance athlete @Conway_Sean - showcasing what #determimation & #selfbelief can achieve. He even joined our y10 for their #raceforlife. Big Thank-you to @CroxleyDanesPA for supporting this event.
Year 8 Enrichment Week trip to see the conservation efforts of the Cassiobury Rare breeds farm. Students were excited to see the amazing selection of animals, birds and fed the goats and alpaca.
Day 2 in Berlin. An excellent guided tour of sachsenhausen camp, shopping and trip up the Reichstag. Cultural exchange with American students too! Very exciting.
Day 1 of the Year 10 History trip to Berlin went well. After a very early start and hour long delay, we completed almost 20,000 steps looking at the difficult recent history of Berlin including checkpoint Charlie, the wall, the reichstag and to tower
Our People and Planet Group did a fantastic job today of sharing the biodiversity of our pond area with @YorkeMead during their year 5 taster day.
It's a busy term for the humanities faculty. Well done to y9 who conducted themselves extremely well @I_W_M this week. It was a fabulous trip!

Dawn of our final day with year 12 geographers in Swanage - some of us were up at 4 to see the sunrise at Old Harry #MakingMemories
Great day for some coastal fieldwork - we explored a range of techniques for the NEA starting with field sketches in Swanage and ending with Sand Dune transects in Studland.
Great effort from our People and Planet group to identify and publicise the biodiversity in our school pond area!
Day 2 in the Azores: early start but no Whales due to sea conditions. The team battled through the rain to the caldera of Sete Citades and picnic. Awesome creativity on the black sand beaches and then into the lava tubes of Ponta Delgada to finish!
Day one in the Azores! A long day to get here from Lisbon. But buffet dinner and comfy hostel improved everyone’s mood! Off to Lagoa de Fogo hike, waterfalls, thermal pools and pineapple plantation!
Another great fieldwork day with year 10 (despite the torrential rain when Mr Vaughan's group were at Chesham Moor!). Well done to all the students for their efforts and positive attitude.
