In 2017, @VVSD365U hired Colleen Guccione to establish an open enrollment 9th grade AP Human Geography program in a school where most students are historically underrepresented in AP. Now, her students regularly outperform state + national averages on the AP Human Geography exam.
I've had a bunch of close friends leave teaching and start working in the private sector. Without fail, every single one of them says they are less stressed, their work/life balance is better, and their mental health is better, even though some are making less money. 1/

This was a VERY good year for #APHG students without even factoring in the pandemic difficulties. Students and teachers should collectively feel GREAT about the performance in such a challenging year. The official APHG score announcement will come later from Trevor Packer.

Most AP Exam scores will be released July 15-17, by location. Students who tested in the June 22-30 exception testing window or submitted exam responses via the backup email submission option in any of the testing windows should have scores by August 7. spr.ly/6010GVjP2
The 2020 AP Human Geography scores: 5: 11.6%; 4: 22.1%; 3: 24.5%; 2: 10.9%; 1: 30.9%.
