It's harvest time! So far volunteers have picked over 3,500 pounds of fresh vegetables at the food pantry garden. We are thankful for the abundance of fresh, local produce in our pantry!

Happy Independence Day USA! CMC offices will be closed tomorrow (July 4th) but we are glad to be open for our daily free meal as regularly scheduled, 4 to 5pm. Doors open 3:30pm; all are welcome for a free hot meal!

Congrats to #ProBono Attorney of the Year, Talita Bornholdt of Madison! The award, recognizes outstanding pro bono service. Bornholdt logged 279 hours volunteering with the Immigration Legal Services program at the Catholic Multicultural Center @CMCMadison in Madison.
CMC has been doing its community meal program for a long time! Since the early 1980s, to be exact. Here's a throwback photo to the old days of the meal program, in the St. Martin House building the preceded the current CMC.
CMC is ready for summer...our food pantry garden is growing, youth missions groups are scheduled to help out throughout the season, and we've been working with groups like Next Step Ministries staff to spruce up our grounds. Looking forward to a good season!

Hello everyone, the food pantry is open tomorrow at 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Hector uses the food pantry and free meal to save money on food. He enjoys coming to the CMC because of the nice environment.
