Reminder: All trails are still CLOSED. Hopefully the forecasted warmed temps and breezy conditions start drying out the trails, but we are still a few weeks away from opening.
Trails closed due to wet/slushy/muddy conditions. Likely closed until spring thaw is over and we have dry dirt trails.
All of the Lester system was groomed last night and should be ready to rip this morning! Let us know how the trails are running!
Lester River Trail, Hawk Ridge, and Morningside have been groomed!
Lester DT, Amity East, and West were all groomed this morning. Conditions are extremely soft. Snowshoe traffic and low psi are encouraged.
Lester River Trail has been groomed. Focus was on turning massive drifts into on camber trail again. Likely to be very soft until we get some more use and grooming in on it.
Hawk-ridge, morningside, and lester river trail were groomed last night!
All the Lester area trails have been groomed! We got quite a bit of fluff, expect super soft until we get some use and another groom or two in.
Amity West, East, and Lester DT are quite icy. Closer to the bottom=more ice. Hawk ridge is not as icy, and pretty good on the west end, and really good above skyline. Studded tires are recommended.

With the current rain and warm conditions, all trails in the Lester system are closed to all traffic (foot or rubber) until the trails can firm up.
Lester DT, Amity East, Amity West, and Hawk Ridge have all been groomed as of last night. The cold temps hopefully firmed things up! Upper Amity East had significant drifting and could use some traffic.
Lester DT, Morningside, Hawk Ridge, and Amity East and West have all been groomed tonight. Should be a good weekend to ride!
With the warm conditions and the rain we are receiving all of Lester's trails are closed to all traffic to prevent any damage to the groomed multi-use trails.
Morningside and Hawk Ridge above skyline got a touch up last night. Expect softer conditions on these trails than the rest of the system.
Lester DT, Hawk Ridge, Amity East, and West were all groomed post-race. If you can get out and ride tomorrow the trails will be EPIC!!!
The Northwoods Winter Trail Marathon Series will be utilizing the multi-use trails shown here on Saturday Jan 7! Please consider utilizing other trail systems for this day. We hope to take advantage of the compaction of the trails for a groom for Sunday morning!
