UPDATE3: @saanichpolice is now tracking the stolen truck near Uptown mall on the TCH.
UPDATE3: @vicpdcanada is now taking control over the tracking of the stolen truck. Currently in the Craigflower area.
UPDATE3: @WestshoreRCMP has tracked the stoel vehicle into @vicpdcanada's area, near Gorge Vale golf course.
UPDATE3: @WestshoreRCMP have had to halt their efforts to stop the stolen vehicle at West Shore Town Centre. SOC headed toward View Royal.
BOLF: late model Dodge Ram, black, BCL HH-3124. Last seen eastbound on Sooke Rd with @WestshoreRCMP tracking.
UPDATE3: due to danger to pedestrians, @WestshoreRCMP has had to stop their efforts to arrest the driver of a stolen pickup truck.
UPDATE3: the driver appears to still be with the vehicle, and is now moving towards Phipps Rd. @WestshoreRCMP to effect the arrest.
UPDATE3: @WestshoreRCMP have located the stolen vehicle in vicinity of Westshore Town Centre mall and are assessing the situation.
UPDATE2: @vicpdcanada subject appears to have left prior to police arrival and they are clearing from the area.
ALERT3: @WestshoreRCMP are tracking a stolen vehicle in the Happy Valley area. Driver has history of violence and fleeing from police.
ALERT2: @vicpdcanada are dealing w/ a barricaded person, recently released from Wilkinson Correctional Centre & is known to be violent.
ALERT: #sooke @bcRCMP are dealing with a @bchydro truck that's lost its load - a transformer that's leaked onto Sooke Rd near Gillespie.
MVI #sooke rd at 17 mile house. Rd is closed both directions. Use Kangaroo and gillespie as detour
Driver is a white male, early 20's. Wearing a black hoody, and dark grey/black sweatpants. May be on foot or in a cab headed towards N Saan.
