Going into the hospital for a very unpleasant procedure tomorrow. It would totally lift my spirits if I got a Colby-Sawyer commitment before I went in. If you are on the fence, this is your sign. Also, why are you on a fence? Its not a super comfortable place to be.
The Aztec Death Whistle makes a sound that is very similar to high pitched screams. Its available on Amazon and I think its really going to spice up practice. This is not backed by any science whatsoever.
Effective immediately we will not be recruiting any player that texts while at the movie theater. It's just rude chat, we can't allow it.

Yelling isn't an effective form of teaching. It is a person's inability to regulate their emotions. Yelling is about instilling fear and having power. Real leaders earn trust, so when they speak, others listen. You should yell if someone is in danger though. Like, "SHARK!"
The regular season isn't even close to starting and I already owe the team two full ice cream parties. I should probably stop using ice cream as a motivator.
A good coach can make you a better player. A great coach can make you a better person. Happy coaches' day to all of you giving so much of yourselves so that others can succeed.
